Talked to my old college buddy today. I gave her an advice that I should've given myself a long time ago. here are some of the things i said to her..
"just be silent. the mere fact that you guys were friends for a long time and they were insensitive enough to hang out with the person who hurt you a lot makes them unworthy of being called friends. i know it's impossible to keep your mouth shut regarding this but be the better person. you may think it's right to talkshit about them or even pick a fight with them but that's so high school. we're all grown up now and the best thing to do is to look for new people to hang out with. if i learned one thing when i moved here is that friends come and go in a snap. there will always be one or two you can really count on but that rarely happens. it sucks! but sh't happens. so what you should do now is eliminate the useless people in your life and invite new ones."
